One of the leading figures behind RBC Super League Triathlon Jersey is aiming to raise money for charity by proving he can star in events as well as organise them.
Fintan Kennedy, a Super League director and a driving force behind the successful race in St Helier, is being joined by three triathlon friends in an isolation fundraiser.
Fintan, along with Chris Bell, Andy Ruddy and Chris Stephens, will each be completing a half Iron distance isolation event on 8 May to raise money for the Jersey Salvation Army food bank.
The four had been training to compete at Challenge Roth this summer but with that event cancelled they have found a productive way to put their training to good use.
They will also start an individual 1.9km open air swim at 8am in accordance with local coronavirus guidelines before heading back to their homes for 90km on a static bike and a 21.1km run on their treadmills.
Further details can be found on their Facebook event page while donations can be made on JustGiving.
