Paula Radcliffe held the women’s marathon world record for 16 years with her time of 2:15:25. She is a three time winner of both the London and New York Marathons and a world champion over 10,000m and cross country. The four-time Olympian is a Commonwealth Games gold medallist and has been awarded an MBE as well as winning the prestigious BBC Sports Personality of the Year award.
