2023 might be Jack Stanton Stock’s debut season as a senior elite, but the 20 year old British athlete is no stranger to Super League Triathlon racing having previously competed in our Youth races in Malta and Jersey – and even taking a podium finish with 3rd place in the SLT Jersey Youth event.

Jack proved himself as one to watch at the opening event of the 2023 Arena Games Triathlon Powered by Zwift series in Montreal. In the semi finals, he battled it out with long distance triathlon legend Lionel Sanders for the last automatic qualification spot into the final, and although Sanders got the better of him there, Stanton-Stock was able to qualify into the final in one of the fastest losers spots and took full advantage of the opportunity. Jack shocked the crowd, taking the win in the first stage of the final and holding on to finish in third place overall behind double Commonwealth and Olympic Bronze medallist Henri Schoeman and team USA standout swimmer Chase McQueen.

Outside of racing Stanton-Stock is good friends with fellow SLT athlete Dan Dixon, with whom he shares a birthday. The two young athletes celebrated their 18th birthday together in true triathlon style – riding for 18 hours on Zwift in aid of NHS Charities
