Iria Rodriguez

Vigo born Spanish athlete Rodriguez has been making steady progress through the junior ranks and into the elites over the past 18 months. She really made her mark as a junior when she finished second at the Melilla ETU Triathlon Junior European Cup race in 2018. That gave her the confidence to push to the Elite ranks and in 2019 she raced in Havana, Cuba, and pulled off a shock fourth place in the American Cup race. Her progress has continued and last year she was fifth at the European Cup event in Coimbra.
