Hills Pay The Bills: Improve Bike Power With A Hill Set From Triathlon Cycling King Jonas Schomburg

Jonas Schomburg Super League Triathlon bike hills training

As I’m a tall and quite heavy guy, I struggle with hills. You can easily get to your limits. Also, I’m living in Grenoble, France, in the mountains, so there’s always a hill around. This is a great session to work on your power in a short time.

‘Hills pay the bills.’ And boy do we have a simple but effective hill workout delivered by one of the sport’s best cyclists. It’s the motto of Jonas Schomburg, one of the strongest bikers in triathlon, renowned for his confident and dynamic breakaways.

The German star is a big guy, and admits that hill work is hard for him. But he also appreciates that it has fired him to the very top of the sport, and he has delivered his favourite set for everybody to enjoy.
