Super League Poznan – The Ultimate Weekend Guide

Excitement is building as Super League Triathlon lands in Europe for the first time in 2019 promising thrilling racing for both Pros and Age Groupers and a unique spectating experience.

The weekend festival of triathlon in Poznan features a range of distances for Age Groupers while the Pros will be battling it out for a coveted Golden Ticket into Super League’s 2019 Championship Series.

While the athletes do their thing out on the course, there is much for friends and family to also enjoy.

With everything set up in one place in the middle of the city on Lake Malta, it is easier than ever to get about and enjoy all of the spectacular entertainment.

Here’s our guide on how to make the most of your Super League weekend:

Onsite Layout:

Once you have orientated yourself at the event village, everything you’ll need is within reach and easily accessible. Each race will start from exactly the same place and cross the same finish line, all overlooked by supporters’ areas on both sides of the lake and the centrally located VIP Zone.

Race Side:

1 – Entry To The Water – all races that begin in the water will start here
2 – Exit From The Water – all athletes leave the water here
3 – Transition Zone – athletes will conduct all transitions here (swim to bike to run etc)
4 – Finish Line – all races finish here

Pre/Post-Race Side:

Behind the Transition and VIP Zones, you’ll find everything you need to make your weekend a success including:

5 – Finisher/Pasta Party – athlete area for pre and post-race activities
6 – VIP Zone – area for VIPs to enjoy the racing
7 – Race Office – any registrations/queries can be taken care of here
8 – Race Expo – entertainment/food/drink

The Race Expo will have locally sourced food available on site throughout the weekend, accompanied by a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. There will be things to keep the kids entertained alongside a selection of stalls and offerings for the adults.
