Arena Games Triathlon Ready For Olympic Esports Week Stage

Arena Games, London 2023

Arena Games Triathlon will make its bow at the Olympic Esports Week in Singapore on Sunday, June 25.

The Exhibition Event will follow a duathlon format with the bike and run legs completed on static trainers and self-powered treadmills and the action realised in the virtual world of Zwift.

Teams representing Asia, Oceania, Europe, North America and Singapore will take part. It will be a relay format with four stages, the last of which will have a pursuit start.

Hungary’s Marton Kropko is the only athlete competing who has experience of racing in the full Arena Games Triathlon, having competed in both Sursee and London this year.

Super League Triathlon CEO and Co-Founder, Michael D’hulst, said: “It’s a huge honour to be part of Olympic Esports Week and to have this fantastic showcase. Both Super League and World Triathlon have worked tirelessly to improve this incredibly unique format as part of our partnership and it is a testament to the hard work and dedication that has gone into it that we have reached this stage so quickly. I am looking forward to the format impressing in Singapore.”
