The athletes will be split into 2 different groups (A/B). The TOP 5 athletes from these 2 groups will automatically qualify for the Enduro on DAY 2. The next 5 fastest athletes from both heats will also go through to DAY 2, qualifying a total of 15 athletes for Sunday’s Final. The rest of the athletes will be eliminated and will not be participating in Sunday’s Finals.
The format is as follows: swim 300m – bike 4km – run 1.6km x2
The Enduro is considered the most brutal of all our formats. Across one continuous stage, it is a test of endurance and tactics with three non-stop bursts of swim-bike-run! A true challenge of an athlete’s ability to sustain incredible racing speed and the endurance to cross the line first.
