#Marten Van Riel
Marten Van Riel finished 11th as Super League Triathlon made its esports debut in the Zwift Classics series.
The Belgian rider produced a fast finish to secure the team an impressive position in the London International.
Double Olympic gold medallist Alistair Brownlee set the pace towards the front for most of the 24.7km race, the first for Super League’s newly formed esports squad, as part of a group that attacked the first time up the Box Hill climb to create a breakaway group.
He and Van Riel stuck in as the pace intensified and in the end it was the Belgian who came through to finish just outside of the top ten. Brownlee ended the ride in 34th.
