Super League secure top ten esports finish

Super League Triathlon’s esports squad took their first top ten finish as the men pulled out a stunning performance in the Richmond International.

Alistair Brownlee, Vincent Luis and Alex Yee were in the front group from start to finish.

Though they missed out on scoring points in the intermediate sprints and King of the Mountains sections of the Zwift Classics race, they all finished inside the top 20, accumulating a total of 29 points.

That meant Super League Triathlon finished ninth overall, ahead of specialist cyclists and Pro teams.

Brownlee finished 14th, Luis 16th and Yee 19th.

Richard Murray and Kristian Blummenfelt were dropped as the pack split up on the first tough climb.
