Brownlee, Luis, Blummenfelt, Murray and Yee line-up for All-Star SLT esports team

Super League’s esports squad are back in action this evening with the men racing as a team for the first time in the Richmond Challenge as part of the Zwift Classics series.

As part of Super League’s constant drive to innovate it has become the first triathlon brand to enter a team into the esports arena – and tonight they score points by working together.

Race times and how to watch
The build-up begins at 6.35pm BST with Will McCloy and Chris McCormack joined by athletes before they get going with the racing starting at 7:10pm BST.

The Super League All-Stars team
Super League has a squad of ten men, of which five will enter each race. Tonight’s stellar line-up is:
Alistair Brownlee (Great Britain)
Vincent Luis (France)
Kristian Blummenfelt (Norway)
Richard Murray (South Africa)
Alex Yee (Great Britain)

The opposition
There is some further interest in the world of triathlon with long distance specialist Lionel Sanders lining up for the Canyon ZCC team.
Among the other Pro cycling teams taking part are NTT Continental Cycling Team, Hagens Berman Axeon, Ribble-Weldtite Pro Team, SEG Racing Academy and Vitus Pro Cycling.

The race
The Richmond Challenge is a team points race format that is on the UCI World Course (forward direction). The team with the most points is declared the winner. The total distance is 32.1kmkm (20 miles) and the course is 2 laps.
