Super League Triathlon Ottawa promised the most thrilling women’s qualifying races ever seen and it lived up to expectations.

A host of big names were vying with up-and-comers for the final three Golden Tickets into the 2019 Championship Series.

The competition was red hot with so many top contenders desperate to book their place on the start line at RBC Super League Triathlon Jersey 2019 on 28-29 September.

The majesty of the destination only helped intensify the drama with the athletes swimming in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Rideau Canal before taking to the streets of Canada’s capital city for a weekend that included both the Enduro and Eliminator formats.

The three women who were the first across the line on Sunday and secured their Golden Tickets were:

  1. Charlotte McShane (AUS) – 46 Points
  2. Nicole Van Der Kaay (NZL) – 46 Points
  3. Desirae Ridenour (CAN) – 34 Points

It wasn’t just the Pros who were cheered around the course with Age Groupers also earning their share of the glory with a variety of distances on offer.

There was also the chance to glimpse some of the stars of tomorrow in the Youth & Junior races, as well a friendly atmosphere with Super League’s famous Fan Zone providing the chance for families to enjoy a unique swim-bike-run weekend together.
