The pressure is well and truly on for six pros hoping to secure a return to the Super League Championship Series.
Three men and three women who know what the sport’s most thrilling race formats are all about will toe the line in Ottawa as Super League’s final qualifier of the year takes place on August 3-4.
Only the top three in each category will earn a coveted spot in the 2019 Championship Series, which kicks-off in Jersey on 28-29 September.
And the competition looks intense as the field knows there is no margin for error with the final line-ups set to be sealed once race day is over.
So, who is returning to Super League in Ottawa and hoping to fill one those final few places in the Championship Series line-up?
Charlotte McShane The competition in the female division is unreal with some top class athletes lining up. McShane is the highest ranked athlete from the 2018 Championship Series taking part having finished just two spots outside of an automatic qualification berth in 12th. The Australian has been a model of consistency throughout her career and underlined that last season with finishes of 16, 9, 8 and 10 over Super League’s four events.
