Ottawa’s Rideau Canal is the centre of attraction in Canada’s capital city – and for the first time ever the swim component of a triathlon will be held in the iconic stretch of water.
Super League is heading to Ottawa on 3-4 August to create history. A Canadian Heritage River and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Rideau Canal is normally off limits for swimmers. That is until Super League arrives with its exciting blend of pro qualifying and age group races.
As a conduct of due diligence, water samples from the canal were sent for examination and the results are here:
