Super League will continue its fight against single-use plastics by handing out medals made from recycled bottled tops when the Championship Series lands in Malta on 19-20 October.
Jersey based Protect Blue teamed up with Les Amis, a charity providing jobs for disabled adults, to produce the unique and innovative medals as part of the sustainability efforts for RBC Super League Triathlon Jersey 2019.
Super League remains to committed to providing the most sustainable options wherever possible, and enough medals were produced to showcase exactly that when they are handed out to athletes in Malta.

The excitement happens over the weekend of 19-20 October with options for both adults and kids to take part in the Nike Fun Run over distances of 1.5km, 3km or 5km, or in our amazing Aquathlon.
That is all before spectators settle down for an amazing and free afternoon watching the incredible Pros battle it out for Championship Series points and big prize money, all from the comfort of the family friendly Fanzone.
