Luis to go Pink in October

Vincent Luis is ready to enjoy a very Pink October as he prepares to defend his spot at the top of the Super League 2019/20 Championship Series standings in Malta.

Defending champion Luis produced a stunning performance to take the victory at RBC Super League Triathlon Jersey 2019, the opening race of the Series.

His position at the top of the Leaderboard gives him the honour of wearing the pink Jersey for the next round of action in Malta on 19-20 October.

And that’s not where the theme ends as one of his sponsors, Nike, are also making him custom pink trainers for the race, which will not only match his kit but also celebrate Pink October, which launched today and raises international awareness on breast cancer.

Nike are also partnering with Super League in Malta to host the Nike Fun Run, which offers 1.5km, 3km and 5km options for adults, juniors and kids on an amazing course ahead of watching Luis and the rest of the world’s best triathletes battle it out.

Luis said:

It’s going to be good to be back in pink. I know one of my sponsors is already making some custom shows for me to be in pink so it would have been disappointing not to wear the pink. Bring on Malta. I can’t wait to race there. I really like Malta and I can’t wait to see Jake (Valetta) this kid that I met last year and I want to meet him again. If I can win again in Malta with the pink jersey on my shoulders that will be great.
