Super League Jersey: Engaging The Community With RBC

RBC Super League Triathlon Jersey 2019 is ready to inspire more people than ever to get fit and active.

The world’s best triathletes are set to arrive for an incredible weekend of racing on 28-29 September and are bringing with them much more than just their racing skills.

Super League’s athletes will be the heart of an amazing week of community engagement.

The Professional superstars of the sport will be visiting three schools in race week – De La Salle, La Rocquier and St Clements – along with RBC mascot Leo the Lion, to help inspire the kids they meet and leave behind a lasting legacy.

Super League is also working alongside RBC and Jersey Sport to offer all schools the opportunity to select pupils to be part of the guard of honour to lead out the Pro Athletes before they line up in Sunday’s Final.

As well as the chance for anybody no matter what their experience or ability to take part in Super League’s Age Group events, the weekend also sees the return of the hugely popular RBC Race for the Kids.

With distances of 2.5km or 5km to choose from, it’s something for the whole family to enjoy with all proceeds going to Mind Jersey. Its inaugural year saw £20,000 raised by 700 participants. This year’s target is to grow that number to 2,000.

Of course, part of the inspiration is also from watching the Pros in action, and Super League is delivering a better spectating experience than ever before.

The Fan Zone has something for the whole family and a new course layout will bring spectators tantalisingly close to the thrilling action.

Super League offers anyone regardless of their ability or experience the chance to have their moment to shine on our amazing course before kicking back to enjoy the incredible spectacle of our Pros fighting it out in what will be one of the most memorable sporting weekends anywhere in the world.
