‘La Ville Rose’, the pink city of Toulouse welcomed Super League Triathlon back to Europe with a number of fresh faces joining the athlete start list. The Bahrain Victorious Scorpions welcomed back Hayden Wilde and Léonie Périault, while the Santara Tech Eagles saw Léo Bergere, Matthew Hauser, Kristian Blummenfelt and Emma Lombardi all return.

As always, the unique format of the Triple Mix would rip up the triathlon form book with the traditional swim-bike-run mixed across three stages to see who would come out on top.

Phenomenal racing from the Kate Waugh (RTP Sharks) saw the British athlete storm to her debut Championship Series victory, with Léo Bergere delighting his home crowd with a statement of intent to the men’s field for a 2023 title challenge.

We head stateside for round three in Malibu in late September with all to fight for.
