With titles on the line and drama all but assured, Super League Triathlon’s 2022 Championship Series Grand Finale in NEOM is set to be a belter.
Georgia Taylor-Brown and Taylor Spivey start neck-and-neck at the top of the Leaderboard, while Hayden Wilde is hoping to wrap up the Series win in style.
But on a very different course and in warm conditions, are there are surprises around the corner? We asked four-time World Champion and Super League Co-Founder Chris McCormack for his predictions.
It’s going to be a wide open course and an interesting race.
Hayden has found his form but I want to see Matt Hauser have a great race.
I think Hayden will just get it out of those two and I think Tyler Mislawchuk is looking for a huge race and he will grab himself a podium this week.
Other people in the mix to look for are Vasco Vilaca and Kenji Nener.
Georgia I think will get the win and the Series. She will be closely pushed by Cassandre Beaugrand who I think will really like the wide open bike course. Those two are so tough to beat.
Taylor Spivey will come third. Racing for the Series she will be right in the action but she may be beaten by a stronger team working well together in the Scorpions with the Short Chutes playing well for Georgia and Cassandre.
