Joe Edwards Named Super League Triathlon’s New Chief Marketing Officer
Super League Triathlon is delighted to confirm the appointment of Joe Edwards as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).
Joe has won multiple awards during an 18-year career and is an active part of the marketing community as a Fellow at the Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing (IDM).
He has experience in multiple sectors and disciplines, working with some of the biggest global brands in sport, technology, entertainment and automotive.
Joe joins Super League after recently delivering FIBA’s (International Basketball Federation) first-ever global award-nominated campaign to kickstart the FIBA Basketball World Cup Qualifiers.
I’m delighted to be joining Super League Triathlon as Chief Marketing Officer at an amazing time for the business and the sport. I am extremely driven to make Super League Triathlon the most popular triathlon competition on the planet for both athletes and fans, turning this historically participation sport into something spectators have to watch. Seeing the unique race formats and presentation, listening to the athletes and how much they are behind Super League and the passion of the founders Michael D’hulst, Chris McCormack and Leonid Boguslavsky convinced me to join and together we can fulfil Super League Triathlon’s incredible potential.
Joe’s role at Super League will see him handed responsibility for driving growth through rights, partners and platforms to engage fans worldwide.
He joins at an exciting time for Super League as it prepares to confirm venues across the world for its expanded 2019/20 Championship Series.
