Get Your Gear On: Registration for Super League Poznan Now Open!

Register now for an intense summer weekend – Super League Poznan will be running from 29 July to 1 August 2018!

Super League Poznan promises a memorable weekend for city residents and visitors alike, with a line-up of attractions and entertainment that will run during the weekend’s sports festival and expo. Get pumped up with DJ Matthew Clarck’s energetic live music resonating across the festival for all three days!

Super League Poznan is also one of the two qualifiers for the prestigious Super League Championships and will offer five men and five women a ‘Golden Ticket’ to the championship series. Visitors can watch some of the best athletes in the world race for that ticket – confirmed athletes are Joanna Brown (Bronze in Commonwealth Games 2018) , Emma Jackson (28th in the ITU World Ranking), Matthew Sharpe (National Canadian Team Triathlete) and Joao Pereira (Best ETU athlete of 2017). Registration is still available for all licensed pros and can be applied via email to ashlee@superleaguetriathlon.com.

If you are not a pro, don’t fret! You can come and participate yourself by signing up for one of the following Age Group events:

  • Half Distance (1.9km swim, 90km bike, 21.1km run);
  • Quarter Distance (950m Swim, 45km Bike, 10.55km Run);
  • ⅛ Distance (475m Swim, 22.5km Bike, 5.275km Run);
  • or sign up with buddies for Quarter Distance Relays

Be kept on your toes throughout the race as you tackle the undulating terrains with steep inclines on the Bike and Run along the two-lane National Road, and test your endurance with the Swim on a unique regatta course in the middle of the city. Find out more about each race and register here.

For the tourists: Poznan is the birthplace of Polish triathlon, with running and cycling routes winding through the city right to its center. The epic combination of Poznan’s sport infrastructure with Super League’s innovative formula will make the triathlon experience an amazing opportunity for all to not only explore the city, but get an adrenaline rush as well. Fans also get to support and admire their favourite Pro Athletes closely throughout the course of the competition.

An historical city with over a thousand years of rich heritage with many tourist attractions such as the famed Old Market Square and Citadel Park, visitors coming to Poznan can get ready for an exhilarating and fuelled race overlooking the contrasting charms of the city on this Super League weekend!
