Outstanding Performances in the First Ever Junior and Youth Races at SLT

Young Brits dominate the top spots in the first day of SLT racing

29 September 2018 – St Helier, Jersey: 96 young and talented triathletes took to the Waterfront earlier today in sunny and mild conditions for the first ever Super League Triathlon Junior and Youth races. The elite athletes came from all over Europe to make the trip to the Channel Island, where the British dominated the podiums and hundreds of sports fans lined the course to watch the live action.

The Juniors (17-19-years-old) set the high standard for the day’s racing, with Erin Wallace of Great Britain (GBR) winning the female race and Marcus Dey, also of GBR, winning the male Junior race this morning. This display of incredible sporting quality continued in the Youth races (15-16-years-old) this afternoon, with GBR’s Isla Britton claiming victory in the female Youth race followed by Daniel Dixon of GBR in the male Youth race.
