1. Announcement

BCA Super League Triathlon Bali 2020 has been postponed!

The event was due to take place on 13-14 June but in response to the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) it cannot take place at this time.

Super League is working with local stakeholders to find alternative dates and will communicate directly with participants as soon as possible.

All participants will automatically be registered for the new event date. No action is required. For questions and more information please read this article.

What happens with my registration?

Your registration will be automatically transferred to the new event dates. If you cannot participate on the new date and would like to opt for a refund instead please fill out this form.

PLEASE NOTE: We do require a response by 8 March in order to provide a refund. If we don’t hear from you by 8 March you will be automatically entered into the 13-14 June race.

How do I register for a race?

You can register for any race of your choice by visiting SLT Qualifier’20 Bali or any race event page listed above.

Is there a Bag Drop?

You can deposit your belongings at the bag drop facility.

Super League Triathlon will not be held responsible or liable in any way for any claims, damages, losses, expenses, costs or liabilities whatsoever, personal or otherwise, to the belongings and items deposited at the event bag drop facility.

What time do I need to arrive on race day?

It is recommended to arrive not later than 1 hour before race starts.

Where is the Lost & Found?

Please visit the INFORMATION TENT located at the Fanzone.

Where can I find event related festivities?

Where can I watch the race?

Can my friends and family cross the finish line with me?

The field of play / finish line is strictly for participants of the race. Finishing with non-registered participants may result in a disqualification.

Can I go into the medical tent to check on the injured relative or friend?

The access to the medical tent is restricted to the medical personnel and patients. If you are listed as an emergency contact, you will be notified.

3. Before the Race

Are there any age restrictions?

The minimum age requirement for Age Group (adult) race participation is 18 years as of 31 Dec of the current year.

Kids races have no minimum age.

Can I change my personal and race details?

For personal detail changes, please email us at info@superleaguetriathlon. com.

Can I enter multiple events?

You may NOT enter multiple events on the same day.

Can I change my wave allocation and my start time?

When will I find out my start time?

Please refer to our race schedule: SLT Qualifier’20 Bali.

Can I have the same race start time as my friends?

Same start time / wave can not be guaranteed.

Do I need race day insurance?

The event is covered under Public Liability insurance. All individual participants are required to purchase their own personal accident insurance.

I have a disability. Can I still participate?

Unfortunately, our race course is not designed to guarantee safety for participants with disability.

My desired race category is not available.

I can’t race, can I get a refund?

Can I transfer my slot to another athlete?

No it is not possible to transfer your slot to another athlete.

4. After the Race

Where do I return my timing chip?

Please return your timing chip at the INFORMATION TENT located at the Fanzone.

Who do I contact for lost property?

For lost property, please drop by the info tent at the Fanzone to file a report during the Fanzone operation hours.

5. Rules

Can I listen to my music while I race?

Personal music players are disallowed during the race.

Can I use any stroke on the swim?

Can I use disc brakes?

Yes. Disc brakes are allowed.

Can I use my disc wheel?

Can I use tri bars on my bike?

No. This is a draft legal race and tri bars are not allowed.

Do I need a wetsuit?

No. You will not need a wetsuit

Does my bike helmet meet safety standards?

Helmets must be approved by a recognized national accredited testing authority and meet or exceed the safety standards of the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and which is clearly labelled by the manufacturer as satisfying such standards.

How can I be sure that the water will be safe to swim in?

Is the race draft legal?

This is a draft legal race.

Is water available during the race?

Yes. Water is available during the race.

Can I get a full refund if I provide a medical certificate?

No. We will not make any exceptions for athletes that can provide a medical certificate.

7. Race Pack Collection

Can someone else pick up my race kit for me?

Please collect your Race Pack prior to the event at one of the times, days and location(s) shown below. Your photo ID or registration confirmation is required. A friend or relative can collect on your behalf with a copy of your registration email.

What does my race pack contain?

Runners: T-Shirt, Medal, Race Bib

Triathletes: T-Shirt, Medal, Race Bib, Tattoos, String Bag

What do I do with the items in my race pack?

Follow the instructions on the envelope provided to apply tattoos and wearing of bib and timing chip.
