A former swimmer who went on to discover triathlon and win the Children and Youth Olympics in Brno, Kurikova fulfilled her dream of making it to the full Olympics in Tokyo last year. She has picked up nine podiums at elite and junior level across her World Triathlon career and with a big swim could help force the running at Arena Games Triathlon.
Kurikova made headlines after she was disqualified for spitting in the heats at Arena Games Triathlon Munich 2022. However, she returned later in the series to race in London and finished seventh.
