Super League Triathlon Expands World-Class Marketing and Commercial Team

The exciting new professional league bolsters its in-house team with a wealth of international experience

Super League Triathlon (SLT), a game-changing, innovative and unique new format of triathlon continues to go from strength to strength with four new strategic hires to join its world-class team. SLT is pleased to announce the appointment of Senior Director, Marketing and Partnerships, Lucinda Brown; Creative Director, Mark Garratt; Commercial Director, Yeji Kim and Events Director, Junie Quah.

Lucinda brings a wealth of international experience having worked in the UK, Australia and Asia for the past 18 years developing highly engaging content and experiential solutions for high profile brands. Lucinda joins the SLT team from ONE Championship where she was VP, Strategic and Brand Partnerships. Prior to this Lucinda held senior roles in Fremantle Media, Telstra and Octagon Sports and Entertainment marketing agency. Lucinda will lead the Marketing and Partnerships team at SLT to develop top quality content and marketing solutions for our key partners.

Mark joins SLT with over 20 years in broadcast-based design and creative leadership. Moving to Singapore in 2000 to launch SportsCenter on ESPN STAR Sports across Southeast Asia, Mark worked at ESS (later FOX Sports) as Director of the Creative Services team after launching countless shows and multiple rebrands across the channel’s networks. Prior to this, Mark was responsible for setting up the office in Singapore for DD8, a Sydney-based motion design studio. At SLT, Mark will lead on the creative direction of the brand, delivering unique and innovative content that will drive exponential fan growth.

Yeji joins the team with a proven track record of delivering commercial results in management consulting in the sports and entertainment industries. Prior to joining SLT, Yeji was a Manager at Nielsen Sports and Entertainment where she led the development of commercial strategies, market assessment studies and delivered valuation projects measure returns for key clients investing in sports and entertainment. Prior to Nielsen, Yeji was a management consultant at PwC specialising in financial analysis and strategic planning across multiple industries. At SLT Yeji will be responsible for developing the strategic commercial direction of SLT and will play a critical role in the company’s financial processes and business development activities.

Junie joins the SLT team from IRONMAN Asia where she was the Senior Manager for Event Operations leading the planning and execution of the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon. Prior to this, Junie directed and coordinated all stages of event operations for multiple A-list concerts in Kuala Lumpur and other cities in Asia. Junie will be responsible for delivering a seamless first-class experience for our athletes and fans in all SLT events across the globe.

“We are very excited to welcome Lucinda, Mark, Yeji, and Junie to our team and to have their world-class expertise as we launch into this season’s global five-round Championship series in Jersey, Malta, Mallorca, Singapore and Australia,” 

said SLT’s CEO Michael D’Hulst.

“With the top 50 (25 men and 25 women) athletes from around the world competing in the most iconic and spectacular destinations, our team will be increasing SLT’s footprint globally, creating unique and highly engaging content and experiences for fans at every touch point,”
